This Cookie Policy explains how AllBeam uses cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) on our websites (including tad.am) and in our apps. It supplements the AllBeam Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Local storage is a similar mechanism browsers provide for saving small amounts of data. Together they let a site remember things between page loads and visits.

How we use them

Essential (always on)

• Authentication: a secure, HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in after you verify with your one-time code. Without it, the Service can't keep you logged in.
• Security: we use technical measures, including request data, to protect against fraud and abuse (such as rate limiting).

Preferences

• Local storage remembers choices such as your selected location, map settings (units, style, radius), and recently viewed items so the Service behaves the way you left it.

Game progress on tad.am

• The TADAM! web game has no sign-in. It keeps your progress, your place in the deck and your language choice in your browser's local storage. That data stays in your browser and is never sent to us; clearing your browser's site data erases it.

In the apps

• Our apps keep your session in your device's secure storage and save your content and settings on the device. Nothing is shared with advertisers.

Site statistics (our own)

• On the main bewrk web pages (home, map, profiles, account and onboarding), our own analytics script keeps a random visit identifier in local storage (pa_session), replaced after 30 minutes without activity. With it we record the pages you view, the referring page and campaign tags, time on each page, page load times and script errors, together with your IP address, browser, device type and operating system, and your account ID if you are signed in. These records stay on our own servers and are not shared or used for advertising. See Section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
• AllBeam also counts views and saves of listings and profiles on our own servers to show their owners simple statistics.

No advertising or third-party analytics

• We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics services.

Third-party cookies

Some features load content from third parties, which receive your IP address and may set their own cookies: fonts from Google Fonts (on these pages and tad.am), code libraries from public content delivery networks, map tiles and place search from OpenStreetMap, CARTO and Esri, sign-in through Clerk, and Stripe's checkout when you pay. We don't control these and recommend reviewing the relevant provider's policy.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in and may break parts of the Service.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of these technologies changes. The version and effective date above show the current one.
