Community Guidelines
Last updated: June 7, 2026 · Version 1.0
Behov works because people trust it. These Guidelines apply to everything you do on Behov — your profile, listings, portfolio, messages, reviews, and community posts. They are part of our Terms & Conditions.
Be real
- Represent yourself, your skills, and your work honestly. No fake profiles, stolen portfolios, or misleading credentials.
- Only claim a verified badge or qualification you actually hold.
- Set a location that reflects where you actually work or are based.
Be respectful
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Keep messages professional. Don't spam, pressure, or repeatedly contact someone who isn't interested.
- Leave reviews that are honest and based on real experiences — no fake, paid, or retaliatory reviews.
Keep it safe & legal
- No illegal goods or services, fraud, scams, or attempts to take payments off-platform to avoid protections.
- No sexually explicit content, violence, or content that exploits or endangers anyone.
- Don't post other people's private or personal information without consent.
- Don't try to hack, scrape, overload, or otherwise interfere with Behov or its users.
Post good content
- Share work that's yours, or that you have permission to share.
- Keep listings accurate — correct category, real photos, and clear descriptions of what you offer.
- No copyright or trademark infringement.
Reporting & enforcement
If you see something that breaks these Guidelines, report it or contact us at support@behov.com. Depending on severity, we may remove content, issue a warning, limit features, or suspend or remove accounts. We aim to be fair, but we prioritize the safety and trust of the community.
These Guidelines may evolve as Behov grows. We'll update the date above when
they change. Thanks for helping keep Behov a place worth being.
